Software Engineer (All Levels)

Remcom’s EM Propagation Software Group in State College, Pennsylvania is growing and seeks motivated individuals with an aptitude and interest in solving challenging problems in Electromagnetic Modeling and Simulation and Software Development.

Develop high-tech EM software applications, applying the latest techniques in parallel-computing and optimization, converting engineering algorithms to efficient code, and developing graphical visualization of simulation results. Develop leading-edge software tools for the U.S. government as well as national and international commercial customers. Applicants must have experience with C++ and object-oriented programming; experience with Unix is a plus.

Education: Bachelor’s or higher in CS or CE, or equivalent programming experience

Electromagnetic Engineer (All Levels)

Research and apply physics, engineering, and electromagnetic theory to solve challenging real-world problems for government and commercial applications. Develop algorithms and prototype software, develop and/or modify EM-based software code to improve or extend capabilities, and execute simulations to test software or perform scientific research studies. Applicants should have experience with analytical packages such as MATLAB and some computer programming skills; C++ and object-oriented programming are highly desired.

Education: Bachelor’s in EE, Physics or other technical field required; Masters or PhD desired

Project Manager

Manage contracts and task orders on U.S. Government contracts with challenging technical requirements. Perform project planning, interface with government customers, and manage research and software development tasks to completion. Ensure that contract deliverables are submitted on time, and that tasks are successfully completed on time and within budget. Must have experience in lead or management positions in software development programs and technical background in an engineering or physics field. Experience with scientific software or modeling and simulation highly desired.

Education: Bachelor’s or higher in engineering, science, or other technical field
