AboutAt Remcom Incorporated, we enjoy strong relationships with numerous universities and academic institutions throughout the world. We strive to keep their programs equipped with industry-grade electromagnetic analysis tools for teaching and research. At a greatly reduced price, qualifying research institutions can acquire fully functional licenses for most of Remcom’s software products. We also make it easy for instructors to acquire teaching-only licenses (at an additional discount) which can be used to demonstrate simple to complex electromagnetic principles. These teaching-only licenses can be obtained from Remcom in quantities sufficient to provide each student individual access.
University Reward ProgramRemcom is pleased to announce our University Program, designed to reward students and academic institutions who work diligently to further research in Electromagnetics worldwide while using Remcom’s quality products. The Remcom University Program invites student researchers to submit electronic copies of published papers detailing their research. The papers should include a description of how Remcom’s tool(s) were utilized in the research. Papers may be included in any scientific publication or conference proceedings. The researcher/author (or co-researcher/co-author) must be a student associated with an accredited academic institution. When submitting a paper, include reference(s) to where the paper has been published. Though we recognize that there are countless researching contributions around the world, we request the submitted papers be written in or translated into English. Under the Remcom University Program, each submitted paper that meets the outlined criteria would earn the represented institution $200.00 USD which can be used toward renewal or purchase of any Remcom product. Periodically, Remcom will select papers and spotlight them on our website. If your paper is selected, the academic institution will then receive an additional $300.00 USD credit, bringing the total to a $500.00 USD credit for a single submission.
All papers received before November 15, 2008 will then be judged by a committee and prizes will be awarded as follows:
