Visit  Remcom at Booth #282

Introducing WaveFarer Automotive Radar Simulation Software

Visit Remcom's booth to learn about our new targeted solution for simulating raw radar returns for drive test scenarios.

  • High-fidelity radar simulator for drive scenario modeling at frequencies up to and beyond 79 GHz
  • Near-field propagation methods compute raw radar returns from target objects while considering multipath from ground reflections
  • Fast and accurate analysis of repeatable drive test scenarios
  • Virtually test and refine results earlier in the design process

Wireless InSite Update: MIMO Beamforming and Throughput

See a demonstration of Wireless InSite's new features in our booth!

In addition to beamforming, the new release of Wireless InSite will feature key MIMO techniques for enhancing network performance, including spatial multiplexing and diversity.

  • 3D ray tracing valid up to 100 GHz
  • Simulate massive MIMO arrays
  • MIMO beamforming, spatial multiplexing, and diversity techniques
  • Throughput and capacity for MIMO systems
  • Diffuse scattering
  • High-performance computing

Throughput as a Design Metric:

Are you confident your design approach is sufficient for meeting 5G performance standards?  Without throughput analysis, you could be missing a critical piece of the 5G puzzle!

Remcom’s software products integrate antenna design, propagation visualization, and communication channel modeling to provide a comprehensive characterization of real-world device success.

Stop by our booth to learn how Remcom’s Device Design Workflow can ensure that your devices meet 5G throughput requirements.

mmWave Ray-Tracing Simulation for 5G Fixed Wireless Access (FWA)

With 5G rollout planned for 2018 by U.S. carriers, Fixed Wireless Access (FWA) will be the first commercial application available to consumers. Customer Premises Equipment (CPE) will enable receiving and distribution of these 5G signals using FWA User Equipment (UE) inside residential premises.

Network planners use mmWave planners to design their systems to achieve optimal throughput. Remcom’s Wireless InSite® 3D ray tracer considers the multipath from the environment along with diffuse scattering off structures at 5G frequencies. In this presentation, an example showcasing FWA into a resident building is applied in a dense urban environment. We also consider maximizing throughput with increasing the number of antennas at the Basestation and CPE.
