Accelerating AI and Wireless Innovation with High-Fidelity Simulation
Wireless InSite’s high-fidelity ray-tracing engine was used to simulate signal behavior across detailed indoor environments, such as apartment buildings and office layouts. Several features allowed Qualcomm to generate realistic, repeatable data across a wide variety of scenarios—all with ground truth known and fully controllable:
- 3D geometry modeling
- Material-specific reflections and transmissions
- Support for MIMO, beamforming, and polarization
- Time-domain channel impulse responses (CIRs)
