Preview of XFdtd Birdcage Designer
This video is a short preview of the new Birdcage Designer in XFdtd and highlights the ease-of-use benefits the new tool will provide for MRI design professionals.
This collection of videos showcases interesting applications and features of Remcom’s 3D electromagnetic simulation software and wireless propagation tools.

Using the pre-loaded scripting library in XFdtd, this video demonstrates simulation of a helical antenna, which is then imported into XGtd for analysis on a satellite. See how XFdtd’s scripting language helps to quickly automate advanced modeling tasks. After the 3D far field pattern is imported into XGtd, the video shows how the software calculates the interaction of the antenna with an electrically large object -- in this case a satellite.
This video demonstrates how XFdtd allows the user to create and manipulate extremely detailed models. A CAD model of a sedan is imported and then material properties are assigned for each part. The result is a very accurate model of the vehicle which can be used as a test bed for antenna simulations.
This video shows a side-by-side comparison of cell phone simulations with and without Remcom's XStream GPU acceleration. The simulations are run on an HP XP9400 Workstation 2x Dual-Core Opteron 2216. The XStream simulation has the added power of 2x NVIDIA CUDA-enabled Tesla C1060 external boards.
This video shows how XF7 and Wireless InSite complement each other to allow a designer complete freedom in the creation, simulation and analysis of an antenna. A monopole antenna is prototyped and placed on the roof of a sedan in XF7. The resulting simulation is then imported into Wireless InSite in order to analyze the energy propagation in a real city.
