Part of Remcom's EM simulation platform, WaveFarer works seamlessly with XFdtd to provide radar returns and full-wave simulation in the same integrated environment. The user interfaces for WaveFarer and XFdtd are built on the same code base so CAD import, geometry editing, visualization, definitions, results analysis, and more provide similar controls and a unified workflow.

RF engineers in need of full wave simulation for antenna design and ray tracing analysis for drive test modeling will benefit from the shared user experience. Further, simulated results from XFdtd are used as inputs in WaveFarer as user-defined antennas. This allows engineers to evaluate a new antenna design in drive test conditions early in the design process.
